Strange Birds – Gemma Marmalade
Strange Birds is an experimental polyvisual installation artwork that responds to the groundbreaking 1957 scientific discovery that pigeons are able to determine the sexuality of humans through visual observation. Pigeons correctly recognised a test participants’ sexual persuasion through a combination of identifying particular physiognomic cues and psychic ability.
Strange Birds by Gemma Marmalade is just one of the specially selected pieces for the ArtHertz group exhibition, Ghost Station at Bletchley Park this September!
